Copyright and DMCA Policy

1. Reporting infringement

We respect copyright and respond to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content stored or shown through Thora infringes your copyright, email legal@thora.cloud with "DMCA" in the subject. Your notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • The copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
  • The material you want removed and where it is (a link or enough detail to find it).
  • Your name, address, phone and email.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

2. Where to send notices

Send copyright notices and counter-notices only by email to legal@thora.cloud. We review each notice we receive and act on valid ones, which may include removing or disabling access to the material and telling the person who posted it.

3. Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your name, address and phone with consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or Franklin County, Ohio if outside the United States). We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days later unless the original sender tells us they have filed a lawsuit.

4. Repeat infringers

We end accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
