Credentials for tools and agents
Connect the Thora CLI, MCP clients, and your own scripts with scoped credentials.
Scoped to this organization.Credentials expire after 30 days and are read-only by default. Administrators can allow specific Git or DNS actions. The full token appears once.
Connect an agent
Browser sign-in. Add https://beta.thora.cloud/mcp to an OAuth-compatible MCP client and sign in normally.
If an existing connection reports an expired session, authenticate that connection again in your client's MCP settings. Keep its current permissions. A working ChatGPT plugin and a desktop MCP connection have separate sessions.
Organization access follows the connection's consent: an organization-scoped connection sees its selected organization. Unavailable build or publication actions require the supported Thora workflow and human review; reconnecting does not enable them.
Set up a headless agent with a token
Use Create credential, name it for your agent, and store the token in your client’s secret or environment settings. Connect to the same endpoint with an Authorization: Bearer header. No metadata file or browser callback is needed.
Use one credential per organization. Read-only is the default; expiry, revocation, selected write permissions, and human publication approvals still apply.
